Shopping at Valley Fair mall
Valley Fair is a popular upscale mall, located in San Jose. It features well known brand names - Gap, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Aldo and many more. There are also big departement stores like Macy's and Nordstrom.
In case apparel is not what you're looking for you can also find here a big Restoration Hardware store, a nice Williams-Sonoma, Papyruss and basically almost everything you can think of.
The mall is large, with about 1.5 million square feet of stores. Although it doesn't feel threatening, probably thanks to the layout, if you want to taste it all you'll need to make some special time for that, maybe take the day off.....
We love going there for a morning of adventure, checking out what's new in our favorite stores, looking for sales. When tired we stop for lunch at the huge food court or the fancier Nordstrom Bistro. There are several coffee stands and a Starbucks, in case coffee is needed to keep you going.

Nordstrom has a wide selection of rain boots by several designers and brands. Prices vary accordingly.

Ann Taylor brown Zahara boots

We promised you a pair of casual brown boots to go with the American Eagle cardigan we presented last month.
Well, since then we told you about the Logo Rain Boots by Michael Kors, which are definetly casual and cool.
However, we also found this teriffic pair, the brown Zahara Riding Boots by Ann Taylor, which are flat so can be considered casual, but are actually fancy enough to go with a more elegant outfit.

Abercrombie and Fitch skinny jeans

We started our new teen corner just a few days ago. Today, again, we would like to present a teen product. Definitely teen or at least a very very skinny lady.
If you are young, in your 20s max, or if you have a teenage daughter/niece or friend, you probably know that their favorite cool clothing is Abercrombie & Fitch. It is designed for the young, that's for sure. The stores are dark and loud music plays the way teens love it.
I had the chance to explore the store in Stanford Shopping Center a few days ago, in the company of a teenage girl on her pursuit for a pair of jeans. Read more.

American Eagle Sweater Hoodies

Yesterday we told you about American Eagle lace tank tops that we loved.
When we bought them we were also looking for matching sweaters to wear on top. Well, we really liked (and got of course) the Eagle Sweater Hoodie.
It is solid colored, there is a nice selection of colors so it's easy to find your favorite and match it to a tank top, and they are warm and comfortable.

American Eagle lace tank tops

We were hanging out in San Francisco the other day, browsing the shelves and hangers in some of our favorite stores, looking for new items for the cold season.
The great selection of lace tank tops at American Eagle caught our eye. They have several different designs, both solid colored and printed. The tank tops are long enough, so they are great for layering with a warm sweater on top.

A few days ago we received an email from Nordstrom about a new collection of shoes by Franco Sarto.
After browsing online we decided it's worth a visit and a closer examination in the store.
Well, we weren't disappointed. On the contrary, we found the Franco Sarto new shoe collection very appealing.
