Ann Taylor brown Zahara boots

We promised you a pair of casual brown boots to go with the American Eagle cardigan we presented last month.
Well, since then we told you about the Logo Rain Boots by Michael Kors, which are definetly casual and cool.
However, we also found this teriffic pair, the brown Zahara Riding Boots by Ann Taylor, which are flat so can be considered casual, but are actually fancy enough to go with a more elegant outfit.

There's a relatively new Michael Kors store at Stanford Shopping Center, and yesterday was our first chance to check it out.
The store is not big but well designed and everything on display looked very attractive.
We didn't buy anything, we weren't looking for anything in particular, just browsing around a bit. It doesn't mean, however, that we didn't fancy most of the items in the store... Read more.

Last week we were hanging out at Fillmore St. in San Francisco. As always, we stepped into Marc by Marc Jacobs store to check what's new, and this time we spent some time in the shoe section.
There were several great pairs, but this one in particular caught our eye.

After browsing online we decided it's worth a visit and a closer examination in the store.
Well, we weren't disappointed. On the contrary, we found the Franco Sarto new shoe collection very appealing.

Design your own kicks

My niece had her 15th birthday last week and I was looking for a unique present for a young and spoiled girl who has everything.
I made some research about her likes and dislikes and found out she collects and wears Converse sneakers in every color and shape.
From that point on, it was easy. I knew that Converse sneakers has a great online feature which enables you to design your own sneakers any way you like.

Chic and fancy flat sandals

One of our girlfriends has just hurt her back quite badly just before throwing a big summer garden party (urr..., such bad luck!).
She already got herself a lovely outfit for the occasion - a white skirt with a matching top and high heel silver sandals.
Absolutely delicious! However - just a few days before the party she realized that there's no way she can wear those high heels now - she needed a quick solution - fancy flat sandals.

Peep-Toe slingback Pumps - at last !

I was looking for a pair of black peep-toe slingback pumps for quite a long time.
This is the kind of a shoe that any woman should have as part of her basic wardrobe.
It wasn't easy to find a pair which met my needs, but finally I found the perfect black peep-toe slingback pumps at the Ann Taylor store and their price tag was also very reasonable - $60 sale!.

Amazing colored Flip-Flops at Chico's

We are huge fans of flip flop sandals of all types.
Every year, by the end of the summer, you can find at least a couple dozen pairs of flip-flops in our closets.
Some are very colorful, some are solid colored. Some are simple, some are fancier. Some are going to end their lives by the end of the season, some will be "rolled over" to next year.
We are also huge fans of Chico's, so you can imagine our joy when we found these solid colored, bright flip-flops in their catalog.

Bright colors at Nine West

We stopped by Nine West on Stockton st. in San Francisco (see store locator),
and were amazed by the bright colors in their display. There were lots of items - shoes, bags and accessories, in yellow, orange and red.
It looks awesome for the summer - especially with a sun dress or a light skirt.

A fancy party apparel

One of our girlfriends just hosted a big and fancy family party. There were many preparations - hiring a caterer and a florist, choosing the right music, sending out the invitations, etc. Finally, only one huge question was left open - what was she going to wear???
