Scarves again

I can't stop myself from looking for new scarves in every store I enter.
Last time I looked, I found a great scarf at Urban Outfitters store on Powell street in San Francisco.
There is a huge selection of scarves in the store, but I got hooked on one of them in particular - the Netting Oblong With Fringe Scarf.

One of our girlfriends just got a great birthday present and immediately called to tell us about it.
Well, we met her the other day and we saw the cute Alessi watch she got, and, indeed, it's definitely worth "writing home about".
Alessi has several different lines of watches by different designers, each line with a unique character.

Scarves - the new summer trend

Scarves are one of my weaknesses - it's an easy way to add color and pattern to an outfit.
The summer scarf is a great new trend to quickly spice up your weekend uniform of a tank top and a pair of jeans, to a look that is casual but definitely chic.
It's great to wear a scarf on breezy summer evenings, tied loosely around the neck.
We found some lovely summer scarves in several stores.

Sunglasses to complement your summer look

After taking care of an outfit for my vacation (swimsuits) and finding a new light
summer watch for the beach, it's time to look for a new pair of sunglasses (naturally.....).
We spent some time at Macy's, which we especially like for this purpose - they have a huge selection of sunglasses of all types and brands.
We know we can always find several pairs of nice sunglasses and then it's just a matter of the price, the color, our mood that day, but we'll definitely buy something.
Well, this time we saw lots of white pairs...

A piece of art that also happens to be a necklace

I've just recently had my birthday and received several wonderful gifts. There's one that I want to show you this time.
It's a necklace bought at the SFMoma store, which usually carries wonderful jewelry and other gift options. Even before I opened the gift box I knew it was an unusual piece.

A summer watch

I need a new watch. something light and bright, a "summer watch".
You already know I'm going on vacation soon (swimsuits) - I need something that will fit with very light clothing on the beach, and will be water resistant.
I was shopping at the Stanford Shopping Center the other day so I stepped into Swatch store to browse a little bit.

Accessories at Aldo

Usually we go into Aldo stores to look for shoes or sandals, but lately we noticed that some of their accessories are worth considering or even buying.
On our last visit at Aldo accessories store at the Valley Fair Shopping mall in San Jose I bought the Weldiya necklace in silver - $18.
It's a long necklace, fits well on any solid color Tunic top or a casual dress.
We also loved the Airasca - $60 evening handbag in silver. Silver in general is our favorite color to spice up a black evening fancy outfit.

A fancy party apparel

One of our girlfriends just hosted a big and fancy family party. There were many preparations - hiring a caterer and a florist, choosing the right music, sending out the invitations, etc. Finally, only one huge question was left open - what was she going to wear??? And, as we all know, girls - this is what the party is all about, right...?
